Kliment Kolesnikov turned the primary man to swim the 50-metre backstroke in below 24 seconds on Monday as he broke his personal world document within the self-discipline on the European Aquatics Championship. Russian Kolesnikov, 20, completed the semi-final race in 23.93sec, seven hundredths of a second higher than his earlier document of 24sec set on the 2018 European Championship in Glasgow the place he received three gold medals.
The 50m backstroke is just not an Olympic occasion. The Tokyo Video games are scheduled for July 23-August 8.
