On June 29, the Authorities of India banned 59 apps from China-based corporations. This transfer comes amid the border tensions between India and China.
The IT Ministry invoked its energy below Part 69A of the IT Act to place a ban on the apps. The Ministry mentioned the cellular apps have been used for stealing consumer information. It additionally mentioned there have been unauthorised transfers of information to servers positioned outdoors India.
