A video that was made more than ten years ago showing Mike Rowe, the current Deadliest Catch narrator and ex-Dirty Jobs host, singing the national anthem before a baseball game, is just a reminder of his patriotism who the narrator isn’t afraid to show.

He sang the national anthem at Prince George’s Stadium in Bowie, Maryland, back in August 2006.

The video also contains other clips showing Rowe sliding into bases, sweeping the dugout, driving a golf cart before the game and helping prep the infield dirt.

When the anthem ended, everybody started to applaud.

Rowe always loudly spoke for patriotism and military veterans.

When his new Facebook series show Returning the Favor aired last month, he visited a U.S. Veteran who had a motorbike shop so that he can help other veterans fighting with post-traumatic stress disorder.

His show is about doing something good to people who do good for others, hence Returning the Favor.

In his first episode, he visited Jason Zaidement, a man who created Operation Combat Bikesaver, because he knew very well what that disorder can do to people, seeing it first on his father, a Vietnam veteran.

Rowe painted the whole garage, paid for new equipment and for one-year rent.

Also, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association presenter Zaidement with a $17,500 check.

Rowe slammed the students who were seen burning the American flag in December 2016. Some even were doing the same thing in front of the Trump Tower, just one month after he was elected president.

Rowe stated that some of the students at Hampshire College received federal funding, which means that taxpayers were paying for their education.

“That means that We the People are enabling schools like Hampshire to sell a liberal arts degree for approximately $250,000,” Rowe posted on Facebook.

“To my knowledge, no one has ever burned a flag at a trade school,” Rowe continued. “I wonder why that is?”

In a video made in June 2016, he said to the group of college students that real world doesn’t care about their dreams.

“Look, I understand the importance of persistence, and the value of encouragement, but who tells a stranger to never give up on their dreams, without even knowing what it is they’re dreaming?” Rowe stated.

Rowe asked, “How can Lady Gaga possibly know where your passion will lead you?”

Even though he said that often the dream jobs are unrealistic, he encouraged the graduates to follow their dreams.

“Never follow your passion, but always bring it with you,” he stated.
