America can always count on Trey Gowdy to dig out the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
This became especially true after Gowdy became determined to discover what the text messages that got an FBI officer fired, contained in the first place.
Gowdy’s cause for action first ignited as FBI operative Peter Strzok was fired after being exposed for working against President Trump.
Gowdy, the chair of the House Oversight Committee, is going full-on, trying to discover the truth.

“People have the right to assume that people who are investigating them are objective and have not already made up their minds,” Gowdy said.
According to reports, Strzok was in charge of the Trump-Flynn investigation, who resigned after communicating with Russia without authorization. Flynn pleaded guilty about lying to the agency regarding his earlier communications with Russia.
As per CNN, he also partook in the investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her hacked email affair.
In time of the presidential campaign in 2016, Strzok even amended FBI Director James Comey’s statement about Clinton’s actions from “grossly negligent” to merely “extremely careless.”
Gowdy demanded to have all facts laid out in front of him before making a final conclusion. However, he has reasons to target Strzok, given the fact he was quite involved in all political matters handled by the FBI.
“That’s why we need to see the text and interview this special agent,” he said.
President Trump took to Twitter to address the matter as well:
Report: “ANTI-TRUMP FBI AGENT LED CLINTON EMAIL PROBE” Now it all starts to make sense!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 3, 2017
He continued by writing in a second tweet that FBI’s reputation was “in tatters.”
Gowdy totally sided with Trump’s opinion on this.
“The bureau has had a really bad last 18 months,” he said, “and this makes it worse, frankly.”
