The NFL’s undermining strategy to boycott the national anthem and flag during several games has caused quite the stir among not only the American people but remaining NFL players and politicians as well.
Instead of merely sharing his thoughts, Ted Nugent took the chance to call out Stanislaus Drew.
Ted Nugent, a well-established musician, opened up on recent developments, elaborating his opinion in a Facebook post titled “Take A Knee.”
“When you use the banner under which they fought as a source for your displeasure, you dishonor the memories of those who bled for the very freedoms you have,” the post read.
His words came the same as millions of others’ as well, all of which are strictly refusing to accept a behavior of this sort.
“That’s what the red stripes mean,” the post continued. “It represents the blood of those who spilled a sea of it defending your liberty.”
The post assures that by disrespecting the national anthem, one instantly refuses to accept every sacrifice ever made for the country. This is an especially touchy subject for veterans.
“You haven’t an inkling what it took to get you where you are, but your ‘protest’ is duly noted,” the author wrote.
The NFL didn’t show any signs of remorse, which makes us wonder how much of the agony America and its citizens need to go through.
In the end, Nugent asked those who adore the kneeling practice to “come with me to church on Sunday and we’ll both kneel before the Almighty God.”
