Sen Warren Says Trumps Remark Is a Racial Slur So Trump Jr Fires Back With One Question

President Donald Trump sent the mainstream media into a frenzy on Monday after making a joke aimed at Sen. Elizabeth Warren during the White House ceremony honoring the Navajo code talkers who served during the World War II.

President Trump referred to Warren as “Pocahontas,” a nickname he invented after it was discovered that Warren lied about her Cherokee heritage, as there is “no credible evidence that exists to support” her claim.

Warren quickly fired back, saying that Trump using the nickname it is a “racial slur”:

“It is deeply unfortunate that the president of the United States cannot even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without having to throw out a racial slur.”

So, Donald Trump Jr. had one question for the Massachusetts Democrat:

It’s suspected that Warren claimed that she has Native American heritage to benefit her career.

She first listed herself as a minority in the Association of American Law Schools Directory of Faculty in 1986, one year before she started to work for the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She continued to list herself as a minority until 1995, when she accepted a tenured position at Harvard Law School.

Putting aside the name-calling, Warren is currently at war with President Trump over his choice to appoint White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney as the temporary head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
