Anthony Scaramucci may have just been hired as the White House communications director on Friday, but it didn’t take him long to put the fear of God into every leaker at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
In an appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday morning, Scaramucci threatened the entire staff with firing if the leaks didn’t stop.
The issue of what Scaramucci would do with leakers came up after a question about the president’s tweets about pardons the previous day.
While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us.FAKE NEWS

“Well, I think that unfortunately he may have had a conversation in the Oval Office or somewhere about it,” Scaramucci said.
“And then people rush out to leak that information to people. It’s just very unprofessional and very harmful. And I think the gist of that leak basically, I mean or that tweet I should say is that he’s not going to pardon anybody. He doesn’t need to pardon anybody. And it’s just really about the leaking that is actually injurious to the government, felonious to the government.”
Dickerson then asked Scaramucci what would happen to leakers in his department on his watch.
“They’re going to get fired. I’m just going to make it very, very clear, OK?” Scaramucci said.
“Tomorrow I’m going to have a staff meeting. And it’s going to be a very binary thing. I’m not going to make any prejudgments about anybody on that staff. If they want to stay on the staff, they’re going to stop leaking.
“If the leaks continue, we are strong as our weakest link. And I’ll say it a little differently in a pun. We’re strong as our weakest leak. So if you guys want to keep leaking, why don’t you guys all get together and make a decision as a team that you’re going to stop leaking … But if you’re going to keep leaking, I’m going to fire everybody. It’s just very binary.”
These White House leakers had better watch out. From the sound of things, this guy isn’t messing around.
