Sarah Sanders Slams ESPNs Jemele Hill For Calling President Trump A White Supremacist

ESPN is losing it’s viewers fast and Jemele Hill is exactly the reason why. Rather than reporting sports, Hill took to twitter and wrote a long tirade calling President Trump a ‘white supremacist.’

“Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists. The height of white privilege is being able to ignore his white supremacy, because it’s of no threat to you. Well, it’s a threat to me. Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period. He is unqualified and unfit to be president. He is not a leader. And if he were not white, he never would have been elected,” wrote Hill.

White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, commented on this. She was asked if President Trump was aware of the comments. “I’m not sure if he’s aware of it, but I think that’s one of the more outrageous that anyone could make, and certainly something that I think is a fireable offense by ESPN,” said Sanders.

She then said that President Trump is “committed to working with [prominent African Americans] to bring the country together. I think that’s where we need to be focused not on outrageous statements like that one.”

ESPN put out a very soft statement that very lightly condemned Hill’s words. “The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN. We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate,” writes ESPN.
