White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is definitely a multitasker on a mission. She does not only take care of how the White House is represented in the public she is also constantly on the field, serving the country right.
When you do your job right, scrutiny from the left is unavoidable. On Tuesday, Sanders confronted a reporter who went along with a story working directly against Trump’s agenda. Don’t mistake Sanders for the soft kind when it comes to her job- she can be both compassionate and a tough cookie at the same time, which is why we love her.
Reuters recently went public with a story of Robert Mueller, who issued a subpoena to German bank Deutschebank asking for Trump’s loan transactions. This caused major disagreement in Americans because it looked a lot like a “fishing expedition.”
Sarah Sanders was quick to comment on this development after being called out on it:
“If Robert Mueller ends up looking into the president’s finances, or if he has already looked into the president’s finances, does the president, does this White House believe that is a ‘red line,’ and if so, why?”
“Look, I think it’s important to note and, hopefully, you guys have seen this statement that Jay Sekulow, a member of the president’s legal team, has put out within the last hour.
That they confirmed that the news reports that the special counsel had subpoenaed financial records relating to the president are completely false, no subpoena has been issued or received, we’ve confirmed this with the bank and other sources,” she replied.
Many influential political figures were fast enough to set the record straight:
Via @JaySekulow lawyer for @realDonaldTrump “We have confirmed that the news reports that the Special Counsel had subpoenaed financial records relating to the President are false. No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources.”

The story comes as a result of Brian Ross’ story about Trump communicating with Russia, an ABC story that was corrected immediately after.
As far as Reuters is concerned, someone should be held accountable for going public with this narrative.
Will it happen?
We just have to wait and see.
