The White House may be getting a new communications director, after Stephen Miller was bold enough to confront CNN reporter Jim Acosta for sharing “cosmopolitan bias.”

According to media, Miller, who worked under Attorney General Jeff Sessions back in Sessions’s Senator days, could take the position of fired Anthony Scaramucci.

Trump was rather impressed by Miller’s stance, because he also supporter the POTUS’ immigration reforms.

Aside from Trump, Chief strategist Steve Bannon was also a fan of Miller’s performance.

Here is what Axios said on the matter:

“Trump cares primarily about how people perform on TV. Miller is proudly hardline nationalist, and a favorite of the Trump faithful.”

Putting Acosta in his place is what got the Republicans talking about Miller’s ability to serve inside the White House. Sarah Huckabee Sanders warned that CNN would probably air an “edited version” of the duel.

“But my guess is, it’s not the version where Stephen Miller puts him in his place,” she noted.

During their one-on-one duel, Acosta bashed Trump for going radical on immigration reforms, and called him out on his plan to build the wall between U.S. and Mexico.

“You don’t actually think the wall affects green card policy? You couldn’t possibly believe that could you? Actually, the notion that you actually think immigration is at a historic low. Do you at CNN really not know the difference between green card policy and illegal immigration?” Miller responded.

Acosta then tried to insinuate that Trump wanted to introduce an immigration reform that only allows British and Australians to come to America.

Miller took Acosta to task.

“Jim, I’ve just got to say, I am shocked by your statement, that you think that only people from Great Britain and Australia would know English. It reveals your cosmopolitan bias to a shocking degree that in your mind … this is an amazing moment … that you think that only people from Great Britain and Australia would speak English is so insulting to millions of hard-working immigrants that do speak English from all over the world,” Miller noted.
