Melania Trump looked angelic and in the festive spirit as she stepped out to view this year’s Christmas decorations at the White House.
Melania Trump met with children and students from Joint Base Andrews today as they took part in arts and crafts projects in various rooms throughout the White House.
According to the White House, the theme of the 2017 holiday decor is ‘Time-Honoured Traditions’, which was thought up by the First Lady to pay respect to 200 years of holiday traditions at the Washington DC presidential base.
Spreading the Christmas cheer, Melania dresses in a midi length cream gown which featured a high neck and three quarter length angel sleeves.
She accentuated her small waist with a skinny gold metallic belt, and wore matching-coloured stiletto heels.
Melania wore her hair down in her signature wavy do and wore a peach-coloured lip and hevay eye-make to finish off the look.
The East Wing in the White House will pay tribute to servicemembers with a Gold Star Family Tree, which is decorated in patrotic ribbon and gold stars, according to CBS News.
The Blue Room on the state floor of the White House holds the official White House Christmas tree which is decorated with glass ornaments depicting the seal of each state and territory.
The State Dining Room holds a traditional gingerbread house which depicts the south facade of the White House, and the China room is set up for a family Christmas dinner with the table displaying china from President Reagan.
Finally the library will hold President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1866 edition of A Christmas Carol.
Just last week, Melania and her son Barron, 11, saw the arrival of the official White House Christmas tree.
The 19.5-ft balsam Fir was delivered by a horse and cart and the First Lady dressed up for the occasion in another festive outfit.
She wrapped up warm in a red and navy check coat which rested on her shoulders.
Melania then slipped on a bright red turtle neck top underneath and dark blue skinny jeans.
She dressed up the outfit with a pair of patent black knee high boots.
The tree is a Wasconsin grown Fir which was provided by the Chapman family of Silent Night Evergreens.
The Chapman family of Silent Night Evergreens, located in Endeavor, Wisconsin, were the winners of the National Christmas Tree Association national tree contest.
