Six months after President Donald Trump was sworn into office, Reuters surveyed his 2016 voters asking them if they would vote for him again. About 7 in 8 of them said they would.

The poll was taken first in May from a sample of 1,296 people, including 541 Trump voters, and then again in July, from a sample of 1,206 people, including 543 Trump voters. The first time, 82 percent of Trump’s voters said they would vote for him again and the second time, that number rose to 88 percent.

Trump’s loss of support since the election came mostly from his base of older, white male voters, Reuters reports. This reflects common trends: former President Barack Obama’s loss of support during his first term in office came mostly from his base of minority voters.

Nonetheless, almost none of Trump’s ex-supporters said they would have voted for former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton if given the chance to go back in time. Three percent of Clinton’s ex-supporters, on the other hand, said they would vote for Trump instead. Comparable to Trump’s voters, 86 percent of Clinton’s voters said they would vote for her again.

Beverly Guy, an ex-Trump supporter, said she didn’t think being vocal about her support for Trump was worth losing friends over.

“If I had to walk around wearing a T-shirt saying who I voted for, I may have voted differently,” she said. ”I care more about my neighbors than I do about politics.”

Democratic voters tend to be more political than Republican voters in general, according to a recent Pew report.
