No Response From Secret Service On Source Of Red Lights Flashing From White House

Mysterious flashing red lights were spotted on the second floor of the White House Sunday evening.

Television cameras locked onto the White House first spotted the strange flashing lights at 8:30 p.m. local time, and the flashing continued for about 20 minutes.

President Donald Trump was home at the White House at the time, back from his first foreign trip as president.

Neither the White House nor the Secret Service has commented on the source of the red flashing lights.

Social media users opted to crowd-source an investigation into the source of the mysterious lights, in the absence of an official government response,

Theories ranged from the practical to the absurd.

One practical explanation is that the lights were a reflection from an emergency vehicle in the area.

Others had more creative theories.

One user suggested that Trump was playing a game of laser tag. Another suggested that the president was winding down from his big trip with a game of Operation.

One popular theory was that the president brought home the glowing orb he was pictured with at the opening of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology last Sunday in Saudi Arabia.

The mysterious red lights haven’t been spotted since Sunday evening.

“As of this morning, the red light mystery lives on,” NBC meteorologist Dylan Dreyer said Monday morning.
