NFL Veteran Shares Real Form of Racism and Many Anthem Protesters Wont Like It

Racism allegations have taken their toll on the NFL, with many players complaining about it, while others vow to keep on protesting despite decreasing profit numbers. However, a veteran stepped out, giving national anthem protesters something to think about.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Benjamin Watson issued a statement last week, oozing with power and certainty:

“Abortion is the leading cause of death among black Americans and the ultimate form of racism.”

Watson appointed the blame to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’ and her views on racism and related issues. “I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions, and I do know that honestly, the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks. And it’s kind of ironic that it’s working.”

Statistics report there have been around 1.46 billion abortions across the globe since the 80s.

As per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, African-American women have “the highest abortion rate (27.0 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15-44 years) and a ratio (420 abortions per 1,000 live births).”
Many of these naive souls could have had a bright future ahead like other black children did. However, they never got the chance to live in the first place, which is a thought to ponder.

Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy explained a courage like this one and the bravery in “speaking the truth,” is something to praise for sure.

An article by Watson and Brian Fisher, co-founder and president of Human Coalition, completely analyzes the viewpoints of abortion and racism. the topic of abortion and race is covered in depth.

Even more, the article reads:

• “Abortion disproportionately affects African Americans who account for approximately 12.6% of the U.S. population, but roughly 35% of all abortions.”

• “Out of all Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities, 79% are located in or within walking distance of minority communities.”

• “There were 285 African Americans killed in police-related incidents in America during 2015. However, more blacks are killed every day in America by abortion.”

It wasn’t long before Dungy faced a terrible heat on social media for his tweet. He, however, decided, not to yield to the pressure.

Dungy possesses strong Christian moras and showed he is not afraid to respect them.

Watson, also, is a faithful Christian and was even a speaker at the 2017 March for Life rally in Washington.

In 2015, he wrote “Under Our Skin,” a book about healing racial divisions in America.
