MERRY CHRISTMAS! Prince William Presents Santa with a Hand-Written Letter from George

MERRY CHRISTMAS Prince William Presents Santa with a Hand-Written Letter from George

Prince George had better have been on his best behaviour this year as he has his heart set on a visit from Father Christmas.

During a visit to a festive market in Helsinki, Prince William presented his son’s handwritten Christmas wish list to Santa Claus.

In the letter the Duke of Cambridge’s eldest child has listed that he would like to receive just one thing in his stocking this year.

Despite there being space for the royal to list five gifts George reveals that all he would like for Christmas is a police car before signing his name at the bottom.

And the young prince clearly thinks that he is deserving of the present as at the top of the paper where it asks whether he has been ‘naughty or nice’ the four-year-old has circled ‘nice’.

The letter was delivered by Prince William who paid a visit to Esplanade Park’s Christmas market in Helsinki, on the second day of his tour of Finland.

Earlier today the Duke of Cambridge, 36, was seen admiring a pair of hobby horses – an ideal gift for either Charlotte or George – during a visit to a tech festival in Helsinki on Thursday.

William was seen playing with the toy horses at the Slush festival held in the Finnish capital on the second day of his tour.

The royal appeared to be in good spirits as he wandered the stalls of the student-driven event, testing out the latest tech on display.

The father-of-two was in his element as he tested out a virtual reality head set during his tour of the event.
Earlier the prince met with former US vice president Al Gore when the campaigner opened the festival.

In just a few years the event has grown to become a global gathering, supporting and promoting the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The duke, who is beginning the second day of a two-day visit to Finland, also chatted with Crown Prince Daniel of Sweden who is also attending the festival.

Later today William will visit a comprehensive school to see the ways in which the Finnish education system is putting student welfare and mental well-being at the top of its agenda.

With Christmas preparations in full swing William will enjoy a traditional festive market in the centre of Helsinki which will give the royal the chance to meet Finnish residents and Father Christmas.

Before ending his visit the duke, a former RAF search and rescue pilot, will meet members of the Finnish Air Force at Helsinki airport and will have the chance to chat to pilots and see a display of the aircraft they fly.

On day one of his two day visit to the Scandinavian country William met teenagers who have turned their lives around thanks to playing ice hockey as he begins a two-day visit to Finland.

William is making his first official visit to the Nordic nation which is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its independence with a year-long series of events.

The trip is another visit to an EU state by a member of the royal family and is likely to be seen as part of this year’s Brexit diplomacy trips, as they have been dubbed by the media, aimed at strengthening ties with European allies as Britain leaves the EU.
