Wednesday, President Trump faced attacks after he retweeted three videos that reportedly showed Muslims inflicting violence.

Though the validity of the videos was questioned, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said to the reporters that the videos were shared just as an illustration of the severity of the threat.

“Whether it is a real video, the threat is real,” Sanders stated.

“That is what the president is talking about, that is what the president is focused on is dealing with those real threats, and those are real no matter how you look at it,” she continued.

When the questions about the validity of the videos started, Sanders said the reporters were missing the main purpose of the videos.

“I’m not talking about the nature of the video. I think you’re focusing on the wrong thing,” Sanders stated.

She continued: “The threat is real, and that’s what the president is talking about.”

The videos President Trump tweeted were originally posted by Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of the right-wing U.K. party Britain First.

In one of the videos, Fransen said that one boy, who was a Muslim migrant according to her, attacked a Dutch boy who was using a support to remain upright.

The troubling video shows the alleged Muslim boy cruelly attacking the other young boy.

The second video shows a Muslim man destroying a monument of the Virgin Mary.

Fransen said the third video portrayed an Islamist mob brutally attacking a number of people after they have been thrown for a roof.

Fransen had been arrested in early November over the comments she made during an anti-terrorism speech in Ireland this summer.

Ireland has different law compared to the U.S. laws, so Ireland does not allow using offensive language to send a political message.

Fransen faced charges for using “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior” during the speech, and her court date is scheduled on December 14th.
