President Trump’s White House has officially named longtime staffer Hope Hicks as Communications Director, following the ousting of Anthony Scaramucci and former Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s resignation in July.
Hicks served as a press secretary on the Trump campaign before joining the White House after the inauguration.
Hope Hicks will become the White House’s communications director after serving in the role on an interim basis for nearly the past month.
A White House official confirmed to The Daily Caller Tuesday that Hicks will take the role. Hicks, 28, served as the Trump campaign’s press secretary after she working for the Trump Organization.
A source told The Daily Caller that Hicks is one of the president’s most trusted aides.
