As soon as ‘The View’ reported Friday that former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn is setting sails to testify regarding his involvement with President Donald Trump and him ordering Flynn to communicate with Russia, lefties were left gasping for air.
The entire matter reached a point where even a producer approached Joy Behar to inform her of the displeasing news. Then Behar read the news as per usual, causing a massive wave of satisfaction in everyone at the show.
Just a day later, ABC News was forced to amend the report, pointing out that the period of this event was when Trump was not a candidate, but a president-elect.
Behar, as vain and wrong as she could be, was obliged to apologize to the public for the incorrect report.
“So on Friday’s show, apparently I was guilty of premature evaluation,” she said. “I hear they have a pill for that now.”
“Here’s what happened, ABC News reporter Brian Ross released a story claiming that when Trump was a candidate, he told Michael Flynn to contact the Russians,” Behar continued. “Ross later corrected himself, saying it was actually when Trump was president-elect. Now, Brian has been suspended for a month.”
ABC released a statement regarding the mishap as well: “We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made yesterday. The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross during the special report had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process.”
