Heres Why Thanks to Trump London Bomber Never Would Have Gotten Into US

While liberals have been crying foul over President Donald Trump’s strict refugee policy, a recent incident in the United Kingdom has showed how he has actually kept Americans safe.

In fact, the suspects in the Sept. 15 bombing of a London subway came to the country from the Middle East as refugees, according to the New York Post.

Syrian native Yahyah Farroukh, 21, and an unnamed 18-year-old were believed to be responsible for planting an explosive device on the train, which injured 30 people.

Farroukh moved to the U.K. from Damascus, while the teenage suspect was an orphaned Iraqi refugee. Both young men were fostered by an elderly couple who had fostered more than 200 children, many of whom were also refugees from Middle Eastern countries affected by conflicts.

The younger terrorist was reportedly a “problem” for the foster parents, and they had been contacting officials before the attack, according to the U.K. Telegraph.

The couple’s neighbor Stephen Griffiths said the police were at the home “multiple times over the span of about a month.”

Farroukh was arrested at a west London fried chicken shop where he worked on Saturday night, while the teenager was arrested earlier in the day at the Dover ferry port, where boats to France leave, according to Fox News.

Video footage from the morning of the attack showed a man near the foster family’s home carrying a Lidl supermarket bag — the same type of bag the explosive device was inside.

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was carried out by their “soliders,” according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

Will Geddes, CEO of security consultants ICP, said he believed the suspects may have used their young ages and sympathetic situations to take advantage of refugee programs and “infiltrate” the U.K.

“I think the age of the man arrested is significant, we are not talking about people in their 40s or 50s we are talking about young people,” he said, according to the National Review. “This is a generational struggle that will be difficult to root out.”

This is exactly why Trump insisted that our country not accept any refugees from certain parts of the world without an extreme and thorough vetting process.

While liberals claimed it was because the president was xenophobic and racist, this terrorist attack in London shows that it was actually because he had the foresight to protect the U.S. from similar attacks.
