As Hillary Clinton’s new book hit the stands Tuesday, negative critiques followed almost instantly. However, those who ranked the book with a low score faced a devastating fate this very week.
In fact, Amazon went as low as to start deleting all negative feedback following the release of the tell-all ‘What Happened’ memoir, revealing glimpses of Hillary’s failed presidential campaign. As Amazon noted, these comments were labeled as ‘abusive,’ hence the drastic move.
In Amazon’s words, a review of the book “must be related to the product and are designed to help … purchase decisions. In the case of a memoir, the subject of the book is the author and their views. It’s not our role to decide what a customer would view as helpful or unhelpful in making their decision. We do however have mechanisms in place to ensure that the voices of many do not drown out the voices of a few.”
long story short, Amazon is getting rid of every bashing review of Clinton’s memoir, because it is in no way convenient for her or her book’s ratings.
At the moment, the book has 95 percent positive rating of the book, given the fact many of the negative feedback was deliberately erased. In comparison, only two days ago, there was 67 percent of ratings who marked the book with score ‘one.’
You can read below what some of the most rigid reviews of Hillary’s book looked like:
“Just not a good book,” said one of the top reviews. “Hastily slapped together.”
“Sore loser, needs to move on,” wrote another.
“Hillary ran a bad campaign, failed to connect with the American people, was in bed with the DNC in suppressing the Democratic supporters of Sanders and was a terrible candidate,” that review said. “THAT is what happened.”
“Complete garbage!” said another one-star review. “All she does is whine [sic] and complain as she blames and disparages everybody else around her.”
“She really makes you feel like you want to die …” wrote another. “It’s littered with baseless claims and accusations … a painfully stupid monologue not unlike that which you would see on an episode of The Bachelor.”
Amazon is currently working really hard to keep the former Secretary of State’s new book a shiny promise of could-be politics. If you’re the one that goes for a solid pity party narrative, you can trust this book to fulfill your fantasies- and if not, then you probably have some sane reasoning still beating within you.
