The celebrity dancing show “Dancing with the Stars” is reportedly looking to add White House press secretary Sean Spicer to its roster next season, according to a report by Page Six.
A source told Page Six that “Dancing with the Stars” is interested in courting Spicer, and that the show has reached out to his team. It was not immediately made clear whether Spicer has responded to any offers from the show.
Spicer and an ABC representative declined to comment to Page Six on the report.
According to the report, Spicer was seen coming out of high-level meetings at major networks including ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox News in Manhatten this week.
The news comes just days after Spicer announced he would step down from his position as press secretary.
Actor Zach Braff tweeted jokingly that Spicer would show up on the celebrity TV show following the former White House spokesman’s announcement, saying he “can’t wait to see Sean Spicer waltz on Dancing with the Stars.”

If the former White House press secretary ends up appearing on the show, he will join the ranks of Rick Perry, the current Energy Department secretary, who competed on the dancing show last year after losing to President Trump in the Republican primary.
