An Army post in Alabama is on lockdown for an active shooter situation.
Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville posted “Possible active shooter on the Arsenal. Installation is locked down. Run hide fight,” they tweeted.

An active shooter drill was already planned for Wednesday at the arsenal, but officials said this situation is not part of the drill, The Washington Examiner reports.

The Marshall Space Flight Center said in an alert that a “situation exists” at Redstone Arsenal and asked people to avoid the area.
Redstone served as a chemical weapons manufacturing facility during World War II and is currently a missile testing and development site.
