Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, an unrepentant socialist whose proposed policies could potentially transform America into a dilapidated wasteland equivalent to Venezuela, revealed during an interview that aired Thursday that he may yet run for president again come 2020.

“No, I’m not taking it off the table; I just have not made any decisions,” he replied when asked by SiriusXM Progress radio host Mark Thompson whether or not he’s already taken another stab at the presidency off the table yet, according to CBS News.

The 75-year-old senator added that it’s “much too early” to speculate. True, but it’s never too early to shudder in terror at the prospect of this maniacal loon ever rising to real power.

Sanders continued by claiming that President Donald Trump represents the “billionaire class,” and that it rests on socialists like himself to defend the “working class.”

“We’ve got to raise the minimum wage … We’ve have got to make public colleges and universities tuition free …. We’ve got to be aggressive on criminal justice reform,” he preached.

Never mind the fact that minimum wage spikes lead to layoffs, that free tuition would ultimately be funded via more taxes on the middle class and that his brand of so-called “criminal justice reform” translates to nothing more than violent drug dealers being released early from prison.

Thanks, but no thanks. Listen to his absurd spiel below:

Here’s the problem: Vox columnist Matt Yglesias, considered among the left to be a veritable oracle of sorts, asserted recently that Sanders “is the Democrats’ real 2020 frontrunner.”

“Bernie Sanders is, by some measures the most popular politician in America, by far Democrats’ most in-demand public speaker, and the most prolific grassroots fundraiser in American history,” he wrote.

Not everyone agrees with his assessment, mind you. Some believe Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who’s been just as unapologetic and hypocritical with her equally impractical proposals, could very well be the frontrunner instead.

Oh, great …

Either way, one thing’s clear — if Republicans don’t unite in 2020 like they did for the 2016 election, and the Democrats somehow retake the White House, this nation is going to be in a whole lot of trouble moving forward.
