CNN commentator Sally Kohn joined the parade of high-profile figures sending out violent political messages Tuesday, tweeting a photo of a sign protesting the position of House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., on overhauling Obamacare.
“Troubled Wisconsin Man Goes on 50 State Killing Spree,” reads the text of the sign, which also bears Ryan’s picture.

Kohn tweeted the image and said, “This. #resist #NoAHCA.”
Two weeks ago, Kohn expressed a different feeling about hate speech.
Appears that today’s shooting is a brutal reminder that hate can come from any party. The answer to hate is never more hate.

“Appears that today’s shooting is a brutal reminder that hate can come from any party. The answer to hate is never more hate,” she tweeted on the day House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot at a GOP baseball practice.
Many on Twitter condemned her post.

Why is this man named Sally and why does he think a health care bill that doesn’t impoverish me is equal to killing people?

You own the next GOP member murdered by one of your fans.#cultureofviolence

In response to Kohn’s tweet, Nickarama of Young Conservatives said, “Because the GOP baseball shooter wasn’t at all incited by language like this? His social media suggests indeed that he was. When you paint GOP as killing people or that everyone is going to die as a result of the bill, there are crazy people who may feel justified in killing in ‘self-defense’ because of the lies being pushed.”
