Al Gore’s Movie Getting Hit Where it Hurts

Al Gores Movie Getting Hit Where it Hurts

Environmentalist Al Gore smugly published a new film on the horror of climate change, but experts and even some experts are speaking out — and he won’t like what they have to say.

“An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,” a documentary that addresses the progress made to tackle the so-called problem of global warming, might be getting rave reviews on movie review website Rotten Tomatoes, but real people recognize what a load of garbage the film, and Gore’s misconception about global warming, really is.

The man who served as vice president in the Bill Clinton administration would like Americans to think he is saving us from ourselves, but the reality is that Gore lives in his own bubble, far removed from facts and science that wreck his theory that humans are destroying the earth.

Let’s not forget that Gore predicted that the polar ice caps would have already melted by now, and all this new documentary seems to do is revisit his apocalyptic predictions.

Climate experts are having a hard time swallowing Gore’s sequel.

Bjorn Lomborg, who is one of the world’s best known global warming skeptics and founder of the Copenhanggen Consensus Center, said Gore’s movie tries to boost the Paris Agreement on climate change, which he predicted will be just as much of a failure as the 1997 Kyoto protocol, another international climate change accord that has accomplished nothing.

“Yes, we’ll go see another Al Gore movie, and honestly it’s not going to move us anyplace because he’s basically still trying to scare us witless using a solution that hasn’t worked for the last 20 years and is likely not to work the next 20,” Copenhagen Consensus Center’s Bjorn Lomborg said, according to The Washington Times.

The truth hurts.

And even normally liberal outlets aren’t buying what Gore is selling.

The liberal website The New Republic published a piece titled “The Troubling Return of Al Gore,” which stated “not everyone on the left is celebrating Gore’s reemergence” and described him as “the most polarizing figure in climate politics.”

Some are openly mocking him.

Liberal media outlet Vox likened the sequel to “a PBS special about Al Gore, in which he reminisces about the highs and lows of his political career.” Writer Alissa Wilkinson wrote that poor filmmaking and rushed editing in response to Donald Trump winning the White House made for a film that made viewers feel like they were getting dropped off a cliff.

Which aptly describes how some Democrats have been known to treat voters.

We expect right-thinking Americans to question Gore and his scare tactics, but when liberals are throwing shade at his attempts to rekindle the global warming movement, it’s really bad news, for Gore anyway.
