Ailes’ Son Sends A Warning To Those Who ‘Betrayed’ His Father

Ailes Son Sends A Warning To Those Who Betrayed His Father

Zachary Ailes issued a warning to those who “betrayed” his father to let them know that they are not yet safe just because his father, former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, is dead.

Speaking at his father’s private funeral at St. Edward Catholic Church in Palm Beach, Fla., Zachary Ailes, 17, fired off a challenge Saturday amid the tributes to his father.

“I loved my father,” Zachary Ailes said. “He considered how much certain people hated him as a measure of success.”

Then, according to the website LifeZette, he added a message of retribution.

“I want all the people who betrayed my father to know that I’m coming after them,” he said, replicating a line from the movie Tombstone. “And hell is coming with me.”

It was not clear to whom Zachary Ailes referred.

Although Ailes was ousted amid a sexual harassment scandal at Fox, he was called a “champion of women” by Kimberly Guilfoyle, a co-host of The Five.

Sean Hannity, who stoutly defended Ailes in the wake of the former media kingpin’s death last week, affirmed that “I wouldn’t be what I am today without Roger.”

“He took me as a local radio host in Atlanta and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime,” Hannity said. “He saw things in people that no one else would see. He is an American patriot of the highest level.”

Other Fox-related mourners at the service included Bill Hemmer, Angela McGowen, Dr. Manny Alvarez and retired U.S. Army Gen. Jack Keane. Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh and his wife, Kathryn, and Lifezette editor-in-chief Laura Ingraham also attended.

Ethyl Kennedy, widow of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, attended the funeral, as did former Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, a Fox contributor.
